Virginia Tech QB Enters The Dark Side

Maryland Reapers News Release
Maryland Reapers Professional Indoor Football Team have just signed QB Ike Whitaker from Virginia Tech. Ike is a very dangerous QB that has a deadly arm and is very smart and makes proper reads. He has some knowledge of the Arena game, but he has also played in the CFL with the Montreal Alouettes. Ike is very mobile as well and will bring his toughness to the team.
He leads by example and not by voice, he's a hard worker and will push the rest of his teammates. We feel with Ike as our QB, we will have 1 of the most high powered offensive attacks in the AIF. Ike has plenty of weapons to choose from and with the "Secret Service" blocking for him up front he will be able sit in the pocket and pick the opponents defense apart.
Ike is 6'4" and 230 pounds. A scout that we talked to about Ike said with 1 year of the Indoor game under his belt he should be playing in the AFL or NFL. "We are just happy to have a guy with his talents on board" said Chuck Thompson - owner of the Maryland Reapers. Practices will be very intense and run in a smooth system as we all learn and gel together. Ike is also from the Maryland Area and has major ties to the community. He is a School Teacher by day and Football player by night, but most importantly he is a Great Man, we look forward to seeing if Ike can duplicate what he did at V.Tech for the Reapers.
