January 29, 2012 - American Indoor Football (AIF)
Maryland Reapers News Release

The Reapers have just gotten two Christmas Gifts that were unexpected. We are pleased and very thankful that we can announce that we have locked in some quality DB's with great knowledge of the Arena game. We would like to welcome 9 year Veteran Mike Blackstone to the Reapers. Mike last played for the Fayetteville Force last season and a host of other Arena/Indoor Teams. Mike is a DB that can play all 3 spots in the secondary and will be a leader on the back-end of the defense. He has also played for Erie Freeze, Montgomery Bears, Boise Burn, and Manchester Wolves. He is a local product of Prince George's County and went to Duval High School and played College Ball at St. Paul's University. Fans please Welcome Mike Blackstone.

Reapers second Veteran DB is William "Roc" Haith. He is another product of the Washington DC area. He played his High School Ball at Wilson Senior High School and played college at Liberty University. {snippet adsensefloatright}Roc has taken the last 2 seasons off to be with his family and coach back at his High School where he Graduated from. Roc has played in the CFL with Toronto, after that was done he became a factor in the Arena game playing for Manchester Wolves which allowed him to be listed as one of the TOP TEN DB's in AF2 history.

Roc has also played AFL with Dallas Desperado's , New Orleans Voodoo, Grand Rapids Rampage. Since his days of playing in the AFL he also has played in the AIFA with the DC Armor. Roc is a physical corner, very smart, and also a great teammate and a fan favorite. Roc is also a reliable person you can count on to be involved in Community Events as well as coming early and staying late putting in that extra work at practice and helping groom the young guys that will be playing for the Reapers. Reapers fans please welcome to the family the one and only William "Roc" Haith.
