Vipers Launch New Website

Huntsville, AL- The Tennessee Valley Vipers have announced they are launching a brand new website for fans to keep up with the team. The address is www.vipersaf2.com and although it is still under construction, it is now available to the public. The site will be fan interactive will poll questions, videos, game photos, and information concerning the Vipers events throughout the community.
The Vipers, who begin their season on March 29th against the South Georgia Wildcats at the Von Braun Center, are currently preparing for the 2008 season and look forward to fans following the Vipers on the new site. "We are very happy to be able to provide a new and more interactive website that will keep fans more informed and involved with the Vipers franchise ", said Vipers General Manager Joe Stroud.
VIPERS MAKE ADDITIONS TO TEAM
The Vipers have also announced that the following players have been assigned to the team and will go to camp with the Vipers on March 8th: Offensive/defensive lineman Terrance Ford 6'3" 320 (Southern Mississippi), offensive lineman/defensive lineman Chris Goff 6'2" 310 (Delta State), fullback/linebacker Tommy Harrison 6'0" 258 (Tennessee Tech), offensive/defensive lineman Benji McDowell 6'1" 290 (Lenoir-Rhyne), offensive/defensive lineman John Simmons 6'0" 285 (Delta State), and offensive/defensive lineman Brandon Walker 6'2" 305 (Hampton). Goff, Harrison, and Simmons were all signed from the last tryout the Vipers held on January 12th.
VIPER VIXENS TO HOLD TRYOUTS
The Viper Vixens dance team will hold tryouts Sunday January 27th at 3pm in the Ballet Room at the Von Braun Center. The cost to pre-register is $10 and $20 on the day on the tryouts. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age as of March 1, 2008 and must have a high school diploma or GED and have means of transportation to rehearsals, games, and appearances. Candidates should wear two piece outfits. Black jazz pants or black hot shorts are preferred. Also, green, white, black, or gray tops are recommended, but not required.
