
Vipers host open house for fans

ROANOKE, VA - The Roanoke Valley Vipers, member of the United Hockey League (UHL), are proud to announce their first annual Open House event at the Roanoke Civic Center.
The event will take place Saturday August 6th on the plaza at the Roanoke Civic Center, the home of the Vipers, and will run from 12p.m.-4p.m. Vipers merchandise will be on sale for the first time ever at the Open House, and fans will have the opportunity to select their seats in person and purchase season and partial-season tickets. The Civic Center concessions staff will operate a stand for the event, and there will be live music provided by Terry Foss and Johnnie Dempsey for the length of the event.
Free games and activities will be available for kids, including Vipers prizes. The team is also proud to have the Roanoke City Police Department Crime Prevention Unit on hand to distribute child fingerprinting kits from 1p.m.-3p.m.
"We are thrilled to host this event for our fans," said Vipers Director of Business Operations and Gameday Operations Kris House. "It is important to us to provide a fun atmosphere for fans of all ages to gather, talk hockey, and support their Vipers."
The Vipers Open House is free and open to the public, and all fans, young and old, are encouraged to stop by.
