Vidswap.com Players of the Week Named

March 17, 2011 - Indoor Football League (IFL) News Release


Richmond, Virginia: The Indoor Football League is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week Four in the IFL. Each week the IFL selects three players, one from each phase of the game, offense, defense, and specials teams whose play on the field stood out among the rest of the competition. The Week Four Players of the week are listed as follows:

Offensive Player of the Week: James Terry, WR, Sioux Falls Storm

The Storm proved its dominance again this week putting up 80 points on the Wenatchee Valley Venom. James Terry took a toll on the Venom's defense with 13 catches for 158 yards and 5 touchdowns. With this standout receiver and QB combo, this will surely not be his last appearance as a player of the week.

Defensive Player of the Week: Calvin Bini, DB, Bloomington Extreme

Calvin Bini made an outstanding appearance in Reading this weekend helping his team to another big win. Bini's defense stood out among the rest as he reported 6 tackles and a fumble recovery helping hold the Express to only 14 points. Calvin's efforts did not stop there as he also would be awarded with 2 interceptions and a pass break up.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Josh Shene, K, Green-Bay Blizzard

Josh Shene showed a golden foot this Saturday against the Wild, as he would convert for 4-6 FG's and went 5-5 on extra points. Josh would convert kicks from 32, 35, 37, and 43 yards in the Blizzard's win over Wichita ending with a score of 55-41.
