Victoria HarbourCats Announce Fairway Markets Partnership

(Victoria, BC - May 7, 2013) General Manager Holly Jones is thrilled to announce that the Victoria HarbourCats have partnered with Fairway Markets to be the "Official Grocery Partner of the Victoria HarbourCats".
The HarbourCats are excited to partner with Fairway Markets, Vancouver Island's largest, locally owned grocery retailer. Holly Jones said, "We are ecstatic that we are able to partner with such a historic, local partner as our official grocery supplier. Fairway Markets is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and we are excited to help them commemorate this milestone."
With ten stores on the island, Fairway Markets will help the HarbourCats to reach fans across Vancouver Island. Fairway Markets will be featured prominently at all 27 HarbourCats home games and will be fueling the HarbourCats players with food all season long. Shoppers at Fairway Markets can look forward to Harvey the HarbourCat making special in-store appearances with promotional grocery offers during the season. In addition, Fairway Markets staff will be wearing HarbourCats colours and giving away tickets to lucky shoppers throughout the summer leading up to the 50th anniversary celebration in September.
