MONTRÉAL - The Montréal Victoire announced on Wednesday that defender Erin Ambrose has been activated from long-term injured reserve (LTIR). In a corresponding move, the team has returned rookie forward Maya Labad to its Reserve Player list.

Ambrose sustained a lower-body injury while representing Canada at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 and has missed the team's last eight games. In 14 games this season, the 31-year-old defender has recorded four assists and posted a +3 rating. She helped Canada capture the silver medal in Milan, tallying two assists in seven games along with a +5 rating.

Labad has appeared in six games this season, including two post-Olympics, and had one goal scored in her PWHL debut on Dec. 17 against Toronto in Halifax.

The Victoire return to Place Bell tonight at 7 p.m. ET against the Vancouver Goldeneyes.
