
Veteran trainer joins Raptors

Centralia, WA-The Lewis County Raptors will have an experienced trainer on the sidelines for their inaugural season in the International Basketball League. Michael Douglas has signed on with the Raptors as the team's trainer and a member of the Raptors' Advisory Board.
Douglas, 30, has an extensive background working as a trainer for events and organizations. Douglas spent three seasons as the Memphis Grizzlies (NBA) Assistant Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Assistant and Equipment Manager. Douglas also served as an intern for the Buffalo Bills (NFL) for three seasons, and was a Student Assistant with USA Basketball during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia.
Douglas is a certified athletic trainer by the National Athletic Trainers Association, and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. The Georgia native also holds a Masters degree in Muscle Physiology from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia and is a Candidate for the Master of Divinity Degree at Luther Rice Seminary also in Atlanta.
