
Veteran Players Returning To Bucs

LAKE CHARLES LA. - While new players are joining the Louisiana Swashbucklers several veterans are returning for 2011 in the quest for a fourth championship. Head coach Darnell Lee announces these players are coming back to wear the purple and black. They are wide receivers Marcus Wilridge and Sammy Knight; defensive back/wide receiver Brian Harvey Jr.; linebacker Ellis Mead; defensive back Brandon Thomas; linebacker Carl Guilliam Jr.
¬ÅWe are fortunate to have these talented men coming back for another season, ¬Â Lee said. ¬ÅThey are proven leaders on and off the field. These guys can show our new players what it takes to be Swashbucklers. Our depth on both sides of the ball will make this team very competitive when the season begins. ¬Â
Lee has also signed a new player to the roster. Coming on board is Mark Julian. He is 6'2 ¬Â and 220 lbs. Julian played college football at both LaSalle University and East Stroudsburg State University. Julian is expected to make an immediate impact with the team.
