
Veteran Defensive End Signs with Storm

The Sioux Falls Storm is excited to announce the signing of Michael Bazemore for the 2011 season.
The 6'4", 265lb defensive end joins the "Thunder Defense" after spending the 2008, 2009 and 2010 seasons with the Billings Outlaws. Bazemore was named to the All IFL team every season he spent with the Outlaws. The Michigan State alumni had another standout season in 2010 finishing with 77 tackles, 12 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 4 pass breakups and 1 defensive touchdown and received 1st Team ALL IFL honors.
Bazemore was a three year Letter Winner at Michigan State where he earned Academic All-Big Ten Honors. The defensive end signed on as a free agent with the Detroit Lions in 2006.
"As we continue our reloading phase, we strive to recruit character athletes. Not only will Michael provide great leadership and talent on and off the field, he will also be completing his Masters degree off the field at the University of Sioux Falls," said Storm Owner, Todd Tryon.
