Washington Valor News Release
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Arena Football League announced today that Washington Valor wide receiver Reggie Gray and linebacker Alvin Ray Jackson have been named Week 6's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, for their performances against the Baltimore Brigade.
Gray caught 12 passes for an AFL season-high 171 yards and four touchdowns, including two for at least 20 yards. Gray also etched his name in the AFL record books, becoming the 16th player in league history to amass 10,000 career receiving yards when he hauled in a 21-yard pass from quarterback Shane Austin in the fourth quarter. Gray has now found the end zone in three-straight games.
In his first game since signing with the team last week, Jackson registered 8.5 total tackles, one for loss, one forced fumble and a pass break-up.
