
Valley Forge Freedom hockey club team with Toys R Us for Teddy Bear Toss

The Valley Forge Freedom professional hockey team announced today that the club has teamed up with Toys R Us to host a Teddy Bear Toss during this Saturday's 8:00 PM game against the Mon Valley Thunder at Oaks Center Ice in Oaks, Penn. Geoffrey Giraffe from the Exton, Penn., Toys R Us will be at the game to collect toys and greet fans.
Stuffed animals will be tossed onto the ice during the first intermission and collected by Freedom players. The toys will be delivered to underprivileged children by Toys-R-Us.
Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.ValleyForgeFreedom.com or at Oaks on game night for just $8 per ticket. Additionally, anyone who brings a new unwrapped stuffed animal or toy to the game will be able to buy a second ticket for just $4 on game night.
"This is a great way to do something nice for these kids," commented Freedom coach Chris Crutcher. "The players are excited to see how many toys we can collect on Saturday. We hope the fans will join with us and the Exton Toys R Us in this worthwhile effort."
