
Utica to Battle with Syracuse in Preseason Series

Comets will travel to Syracuse on Oct. 8, and host the Crunch the following day
Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations Pat Conacher has announced that the Comets will play a home and home preseason series against the Syracuse Crunch.
The Comets will host the second game of the series at the Utica Memorial Auditorium on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. The first game of the series will be played at the Syracuse War Memorial on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 5 p.m. Ticketing information for the preseason game at The AUD will be announced a later date.
The two teams split their 2015 preseason series in Lyon, France with the Comets winning the first game 1-0, and Syracuse winning the second game 2-1 in overtime. All-time, the Comets and Crunch have played each other 20 times during the regular season. In the Galaxy Cup showdown, the Comets own an 11-7-1-1 record, and have captured the Galaxy Cup in all three years of its existence.
