
Utica Comettes Tryouts Set for August 22

The Utica Comets are excited to announce that tryouts to become a member of the Comettes sponsored by Sitrin Healthcare will be held on Aug. 22 at Tony's AUDelicious in Utica. The high-energy dance team will continue to entertain fans this season, during Comets games, as well as represent the Comets throughout the community.
The Comettes sponsored by Sitrin Healthcare will be made up of the most outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic women that the Mohawk Valley has to offer. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and applications to participate in Comettes tryouts must be submitted by Aug. 15 through the Utica Comets web site.
Tryouts at Tony's AUDelicious will begin with registration at 6 p.m. on Aug. 22 and tryouts will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Participants are asked to wear form-fitting, two-piece dance outfits and comfortable shoes, as well as to look "game day ready" to give the judges a better feel for the game day experience.
Judges will include Sean "Big Sexy" Smith from NBC's The Voice, WKTV Meteorologist Jill Reale, and more. Fans are invited to attend the tryouts and Tony's AUDelicious will have drink specials for Comets fans in attendance.
