
Utah Warriors announce preseason game

West Valley City, UT. â The Utah Warriors, of the National Indoor Football League (NIFL), announce their 2004 pre-season game to be played on Saturday, February 28th at 7:00 pm, in the E-Center of West Valley. The Opponent for this game will be the UIFL All-Stars. The UIFL (Utah Indoor Football League) is a 14-team league with three hundred and fifty players. From these teams, thirty All-Stars will be chosen to face the Utah Warriors. With both teams being filled with local college standouts this is sure to be a great challenge for the Warriors.
Both teams will carry a 30-man roster for the pre-season game. A few more than the 21-man roster allowed for regular season games. Coach Lee Leslie has also stated that he will have five spots available for the UIFL All-Stars to fill if they can beat out any current Warriors roster players. So, with roster spots on the line and serious bragging rights at stake, this will be an exciting way to kick off the 2004 Warriors season.
