Utah Snowbears win 111-100 to improve record to 4-0

November 27, 2004 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Utah Snowbears News Release

Ike Austin preaches conditioning and defense, and it paid off as the ABA Snowbears went on a 14-2 run in the final minutes to defeat Bellevue 111-100. Clay Tucker led the way with 30 points and 6 rebounds, including two key steals and baskets in the fourth quarter. Harold Arceneaux added 27 points and 6 rebounds as well, including 9 fourth quarter points to seal the game.

Utah ran out to an eleven point lead in the third after leading 61-55 at the half, only to have Bellevue take a four point lead behind Chris Baert, who finished with 26 points, and Eric Sandrin, who had 19. But Jared Ramirez had steals on consecutive trips, one leading to a Ramirez layup and the other a Tucker follow up slam to change the momentum for Utah. In the end, it was too much depth and too much fatigue for Bellevue, as the Snowbears finished with five players in double figures, including Adam Parada with 15 points, Alex Austin with 11 and Curtis Millage with 10 points and 7 assists.

Utah returns home to face the Fresno Heatwave Monday and Tuesday.
