Utah Snowbears News Release
Ike Austin sat two of the stars of his ninth win, sat down his recent signee who just happened to be a former NBA starter, and still had enough depth to blow out the Bellevue Blackhawks 109-86 in Salt Lake City Saturday night.
Tyrone Hayes came off the Snowbears bench to score a game high 24 points, all in the first three quarters to lead the Snowbears to their tenth consecutive win. Clay Tucker added 13 points in the fourth quarter on his way to 21 points and Adam Parada added 18 points and 8 rebounds for undefeated Utah. Alex Austin, Curtis Millage and David Benoit sat out the game for Utah.
Eric Sandrin got Bellevue off to a nice start, teaming with Dontay Harris for 14 of the Blackhawks 22 first quarter points. Sandrin added 13 in the third and finished with 22, while Greg Hendricks and Eddie George scored in bunches in the second half, finishing with 18 and 17 respectively. Harris finished with 13 points.
Utah led the entire way, running out to a 48-33 halftime lead, extended the lead to 81-59 after three quarters behind dominant rebounding and inside play by Tony Farmer and Babacar Camara. Farmer finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Camara added 7 offensive rebounds on his way to 7 points and 12 rebounds off the bench for Utah. Harold Arceneaux also finished in double figures with 15 points.
