
Utah Royals FC Receives Two Draft Picks in Trade with Houston Dash

SANDY, Utah - Utah Royals FC have traded forward Katie Stengel and the team's 2020 third-round draft pick in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2020 National Women's Soccer League College Draft, as well as Houston's natural second-round draft pick in 2021
"Thank you to Stengel for the role she played for us these past two years. With this pick we look forward to growing our youth talent in this upcoming draft," General Manager Stephanie Lee said.
In her two seasons with Utah, Stengel recorded eight goals and one assist in 47 matches, including a team-high six goals in the club's inaugural season. The 2020 NWSL College Draft takes place on January 16 in Baltimore, Maryland. URFC currently holds the Nos. 12 and 31 overall picks.
TRANSACTION: Utah Royals FC acquired a second-round pick in the 2020 NWSL College Draft and a second-round pick in the 2021 NWSL College Draft in exchange for FW Katie Stengel and a third-round pick in the 2020 NWSL College Draft.
