Head Coach Scott Fields of the CBA Utah Eagles announced a change in the tryout particulars for this weekend. Fields is expecting players from BYU, and Weber State, plus players from Florida, Oregon, Nevada and California amongst the free agents attempting to get into the Eagles Vet Camp beginning November 14th. There will also be players from Serbia and the Bahamas. Fields said that the team "wanted to see the players on their home floor at SLCC, so the Saturday morning session should be spirited".

Friday nights workout will be at 7pm at Franklin Covey, and Saturday Night at 5pm, also at Franklin Covey. There will be an morning workout Saturday at 7:30am at Salt Lake Community College.

Fields announced that amongst the free agents is a name familiar to Utah Jazz fans. John Millsap, the 6'6 older brother of Jazz rookie forward Paul Millsap, will make an attempt to make the Eagles roster. Millsap averaged 13.7 points and 6.9 rebounds in his final year at Texas San Antonio.
