USL's Josh Keller to Appear at Sponsorship Connect
May 28, 2021 - United Soccer League Championship (USL) News Release
TAMPA, Fla. - United Soccer League executive Josh Keller will be a guest speaker in a panel discussion on the Growth of North American Soccer, part of this week's online Sponsorship Connect series. In addition to bringing together a collection of top front office executives in North American soccer, the series of panels is also serving as a fundraiser for UNICEF and the India Pandemic Response Fund, which is currently working to aid those affected by COVID-19 in the country.
A former professional player who made almost 100 appearances in Major League Soccer during his career, Keller has since moved into the sport's front office, where he has made a significant impact on the growth of the USL off the field. Keller joined the USL in 2017 and has played a key role in securing national partnerships that have driven increased revenues for the organization and its clubs, including the USL's Preferred Supplier program that has helped make world-class goods and service organizations part of gameday for clubs across the USL ecosystem.
Keller will be joined on the panel, to be held on Friday at 1 p.m. ET, by Kay Bradley, the Director of Brand & Fan Experience at U.S. Soccer, Heidi Pellerano, CCO of CONCACAF, Mallika Pereira, the VP of Partnership Marketing at Major League Soccer, and Allie Ayres, the Director of Partnership Strategy & Marketing for the National Women's Soccer League. The panel will be moderated by Wells Fargo VP of Sports Marketing, Sara Toussaint.
Also appearing as part of Sponsorship Connect on Friday at 2:30 p.m. ET will be Oakland Roots SC's Chief Purpose Officer, Mike Geddes, who will be part of a panel discussing Purpose Driven Partnerships alongside Julie Uhrman, the Founder and President of expansion NWSL club Angel City FC, and David Bornoff, the Head of Consumer, Brand Marketing of DoorDash.
A complete schedule of events and tickets for the online seminars are available online at Eventbrite.com.
