USL Discipline Report: Week 12

TAMPA, Fla. - The following is the USL's discipline report for Week 12 of the 2016 season:
Seven players have been suspended and fined an undisclosed amount for their actions this past week.
Among multi-game suspensions, Orange County Blues FC's Akwafei Ajeakwa has been issued a two-match suspension for his intentional kick to an Arizona United SC player on Saturday. He will be miss the Blues' upcoming matches against Real Monarchs SLC (Saturday) and San Antonio FC (June 23).
Orlando City B's Tyler Turner is also suspended for the next two games - one for his sending off against the Charleston Battery and one for yellow card accumulation as he has accrued five this season. Turner is out for OCB's Sunday match against the New York Red Bulls II and the June 26 game against FC Montreal.
One-game suspensions from the past week include the following: the Rochester Rhinos' Vasileios Apostolopoulos (out Saturday against Louisville City FC), Rio Grande Valley FC's Jorginho James and Jose Escalante (both out Saturday against Sacramento Republic FC), the Portland Timbers 2's Kharlton Belmar (out Tuesday against Seattle Sounders FC 2) and Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2's Kyle Greig (out Sunday against the Portland Timbers 2). Apostolopoulos, James and Greig are serving suspensions for yellow card accumulation.
Two assistant coaches are also suspended for a match in FC Montreal's Jack Stern (out for Wednesday's game against Toronto FC II) and Orange County Blues FC's Barry Venison (out Saturday against Real Monarchs SLC).
Whitecaps FC 2 Head Coach Alan Koch, who was sent off during the team's road match against Seattle Sounders FC 2 last Thursday, already served a one-game suspension during Sunday's victory against the Swope Park Rangers.
Eleven players have been issued four yellow cards this season and are one away from being fined and suspended for accumulation: the Charleston Battery's Justin Portillo and Zach Prince, Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC's Miguel Gonzalez and Marty Maybin, FC Montreal's Louis Beland-Goyette, the LA Galaxy II's Nathan Smith, Orange County Blues FC's Trevin Caesar, Sacramento Republic FC's Derek Foran, Saint Louis FC's James Musa, Toronto FC II's Mitchell Taintor and Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2's William Seymore.
