FC Cincinnati, which had a six-game homestand interrupted with a match at Tampa Bay, will conclude the stretch at Nippert against Toronto FC II this Saturday.

The team is third in the USL with 24 points and sit behind conference leader, Louisville City FC (8-1-4, 28 pts.) and New York Red Bulls II (8-1-3, 27 pts.).

FCC extended its USL unbeaten streak to eight games.

FC CINCINNATI FEATURED ON ESPN3

FC Cincinnati's match at Louisville City FC will be a USL Match of the Week with the broadcast to be aired on ESPN3.

The match among a list of five that were announced last week by the USL.

Kick-off is slated for 7:30 p.m.

OKOLI VOTED TO THE USL TEAM OF THE WEEK

Sean Okoli was named to the USL Team of the Week after scoring twice in FCC's win over FC Montreal.

Okoli converted his third penalty of the season in the first half and then put away a ball early in the second period.

The goals lifted FCC to 7-2-3 in the the USL.

Okoli is now fifth in the league with seven goals.

He leads the team with three game-winning goals.

HEATHER MITTS TO BE SPECIAL GUEST SATURDAY

Heather Mitts, a three-time Olympic gold medalist, will be a guest at the FC Cincinnati match against Toronto FC II this Saturday.

Mitts will be on-hand for photos with selected winners of FCC's Father's Day contest.

FCC will also recognize high school soccer champions at halftime.

STEVENSON LOGS FIRST ASSIST

Eric Stevenson, making his second consecutive start, recorded his first assist last week against FC Montreal.

Stevenson crossed the ball from the left side, finding Okoli, who blasted his second goal of the day.

Stevenson is tied for sixth on the team with three points, sharing the spot with Kenney Walker and Pat McMahon.

SHUTOUT EFFORTS STYMIED BY LATE GOALS

FCC was on the verge of posting a shutout in two consecutive games only to see the opposition score in the final minutes of action.

The team had a 1-0 lead against Richmond but a goal in the second minute of stoppage time equalized the contest

Against FC Montreal, FCC had a two-goal lead but allowed a goal in the 90th minute that cut the lead in half for a 2-1 final.

The goals were just the third and fourth given up by FCC in the final five minutes of action this year.

On the season, FCC has allowed six second-half goals while scoring 12.

SLIDE THE CITY

FC Cincinnati's match will coincide with Slide the City, an event hosted by the city of Cincinnati this Saturday.

Jefferson Ave. will be shut down between University Avenue and Corry Blvd.

However, both University and Corry Ave will remain open to traffic.

FCC fans should access the Campus Green and Woodside Garages from Martin Luther King Blvd.

The Calhoun Garage will be accessible from Calhoun Street.

Access to the Corry and CCM garages will be available from Corry Blvd via William Howard Taft.
