Weekly Game Notes:
Chicago Steel: Forward Joe Miller is on the longest current point streak in the USHL at 12 games (7-18-25) and his 25 points on the streak is the most in any point streak this season, having surpassed the previous total of 24 set by Adam Ingram (Youngstown Phantoms) over 16 games from October 22 to December 10
Dubuque Fighting Saints: Fighting Saints forward Stephen Halliday overtook the Chicago contingency that has held the top spot in league scoring this year and currently paces the league with 38 points
Waterloo Black Hawks: Waterloo visits the Fargo Force for the last game before Christmas break for the third time since 2016 and the teams are very evenly matched this season as Waterloo ranks 14th, Fargo 15th, in goals per game and leading scorers for each team have 16 points (Waterloo, Michael LaStarza) and 15 points (Fargo, Bret Link)

The 2021-22 season will be the USHL's 20th season as the nation's only Tier I junior hockey league. The USHL had 50 players selected at the 2021 NHL Draft, marking the fourth-straight season with 50-or-more USHL players selected in the Draft. More than 800 league alumni are currently on NCAA Division I rosters, further establishing the USHL as the world's foremost producer of junior hockey talent.
