USHL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CalleRidderwall Tri-City

Stockholm, Sweden

Ridderwall scored 2-3-5 in two Tri-City wins, with an assist in a 3-2 win over Des Moines and 2-2-4 in a win over Omaha. He was also a +4 for the weekend and is tied for the league scoring lead. Runner-Up: James Marcou of Waterloo (2 GP, 0-4-4, +3)

USHL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Scott Wietecha Cedar Rapids

Wolverine Lake,Mich.

Entering the weekend with 1 point, Wietecha showed an explosion of offense with three power play points, 2-1-3, on the weekend. He was +2 on the weekend and 13 shots on goal. Runner-Up: Corey Toy of Omaha (2GP 1-1-2,+2)

Matt Dalton Des Moines

Clinton, Ontario

Dalton went 1-0-1 with a 5-1 win over Sioux City and 3-2 shootout loss to Tri-City. Dalton stopped 55 of 58 shots faced, for a .943 save percentage to go with a 2.77 goals against average. Runner-Up: Ryan Rondeau of Waterloo (1-0-0, 1.00, .947).
