Union Omaha Unveils Front of Jersey Partnership with Xcancer

PAPILLION, Neb. - Union Omaha announced a three-year exclusive agreement with XCancer as the official front-of-jersey partner ahead of the 2021 season. The announcement took place today at a celebration hosted at Werner Park that was attended by club owners, staff, community partners, several season ticket holders and supporter fan groups. The 2021 season will feature a black-and-white primary and a lightning-yellow secondary jersey with the Union Omaha crest over the heart, XCancer across the front and the Nike swoosh on the right chest.

"I couldn't think of a better partner to have on the front of our jersey than XCancer," said Union Omaha Managing Partner and CEO, Gary Green. "They are an amazing organization doing very important work and serving the community in an impactful way. I am beyond excited to see this happen."

A team, led by Omaha Native Jason Kohll and Erik Pulverenti, from Professional Sports Partners (PSP), a sports marketing consultant firm based in Houston, Texas, helped the club brand its 2021 season jersey with XCancer through a process that began in January and culminated in March.

"I could not be more thrilled with this partnership between Union Omaha and XCancer. Today we are joining forces between the most popular sport in the world with an innovative movement to broaden the fight against cancer across the U.S. and globally," said XCancer CEO, Dr. Luke Nordquist. "This energy will no doubt raise the spirits and hopes of the many people across our communities affected by this disease. "

The club's kits are manufactured by Nike. The primary jersey features a flashy design with a black-and-white-striped right side containing a subtle white swoosh. The solid black left-side contains the Union Omaha crest over the heart. This jersey also features an OMA logo patch at the bottom-left side. The lightning-yellow secondary jersey features a clean design with diagonal stripes in an alternating shine pattern. This jersey also includes the Union Omaha crest over the heart and a black swoosh on the right side. Both jerseys display Dvorak Law LLC, logo on the right sleeve and Blackstone District logo across the lower bottom of the back side of the jersey.

Both jerseys are available for purchase 24/7 at shop.unionomaha.com, or at the Storm Front Team Store located at Werner Park from noon to 5 p.m. on weekdays. The primary jersey will be worn for the first time in front of fans at the club's home-opener against South Georgia Tormenta FC, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, at Werner Park. Tickets for this match are still available at tickets.unionomaha.com, by calling the Ticket Office at 402.738.5100 or in person from noon - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
