
Union Omaha Signs Goalkeeper for Its Inaugural Season

PAPILLION, Neb. - Union Omaha announced today the goalkeeper to join the club for its inaugural season, which continues to be suspended due to COVID-19 until May 10, 2020 at a minimum.
"Sam adds great quality to our team," said head coach, Jay Mims. "Not only is he a great goalkeeper, he is very mature and displays a great responsibility and work ethic which I love about him."
Samuel Howard joins the club from USL Championship's Fresno FC, where he played in the 2018 and 2019 seasons. Prior to Fresno FC, Howard played for IFK Amal, in Sweden's Division 2 - Norra Götaland, where he had 68 appearances accruing a 48-15-5 career record.
