Unforgettable IPA & Taco Festival - June 10
April 18, 2017 - New York-Penn League (NYPL)
Staten Island Yankees News Release
Please join us at Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St. George, home of the Staten Island Yankees in the Fifth & Forgotten Borough of Staten Island. Taste classic (and eclectic) India Pale Ales from some of New York City's best breweries while sampling tacos from premier taco joints and food trucks from all five boroughs.
Step off the free Staten Island Ferry and take in the killer view of the New York City skyline, mingle with 3,000 of NYC's most discerning IPA drinkers and taco enthusiasts as well as national and local press, food bloggers and national and home brewers in Staten Island's burgeoning North Shore neighborhood of St. George and it's thriving music and art scene and rejuvenated waterfront-the same waterfront that will soon be home to the NY Wheel, the largest observation ferris wheel in the Western Hemisphere along with a new retail complex, Empire Outlets, and state of the art hotel on two sites adjacent to the ballpark.
Inspired by the North Shore's pioneer spirit, the Staten Island Yankees, Flagship Brewery, and Ho'Brah Tacos- all visionaries who recognized St. George as the city's newest and most exciting frontier neighborhood- have birthed this Festival to shine a light on our beloved Fifth and Forgotten Borough. The Unforgettable Fest will feature live DJ's, hot sauce giveaways, stadium tours, home brew demonstrations and much, much more. Portions of ticket sales will benefit The New York City Brewer's Guild and No Kid Hungry.
