UIF Players of the Week announced

Omaha, NE - United Indoor Football is pleased to announce that Chris Dixon, AJ Bryant and Ha'a Bento have been named the three Players of the Week for week 11. Dixon led the Billings Outlaws to a win over the Sioux City Bandits to receive Offensive Player of the Week. Bryant picked up two records as the Evansville BlueCats defeated the Bloomington Extreme to earn Defensive Player of the Week and Billings kicker Bento was electric with his kicking game against Sioux City earning him Special Teams Player of the Week.

Chris Dixon (BIL) went 14-of-17 passing for 123 yards, seven touchdowns, while he carried the ball four times for 48 yards. The Outlaws defeated the Bandits 73-30, winning their fourth game in a row and their second in a row on the road. This Saturday the Outlaws return home to host the Beef.

AJ Bryant (EVA) proved why he is getting looks from player personnel directors around the country as he picked up 8.5 tackles and three interceptions. His three interceptions in one game are both a single game team record for the BlueCats and the most in a single game in the UIF this season. The BlueCats defeated the Extreme 58-46 and will host the Raptors Saturday.

Ha'a Bento (BIL) converted 10-of-10 extra points and had one field goal from 30 yards. This season, Bento is tied for fourth on the Outlaws with Eddie Linscomb Jr., and Chris Dixon with 30 points. For the season Bento has made 21-of-24 extra point attempts, while going 3-of-11 on field goals.

Receiving Week 11 Honorable Mentions are: Offense, Ben Sankey (ROC); Defense, Jeffrey Candler (OVG); and Special Teams, Antonio Overstreet (ROC).
