
UHL loses former owner

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- Earlier today, the United Hockey League (UHL) lost a former owner. Muhanad Jondy, owner of the Saginaw Lumber Kings from 1995-97, passed away in a one car accident this morning. He is survived by his wife and four children.
"We are truly saddened by the loss of Muhanad Jondy. He was an important part of the history of the UHL, a friend to the league, and he will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and children," stated Richard Brosal, UHL President/CEO.
As a tribute to Jondy, a moment of silence will be observed before all UHL games taking place this weekend.
