LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) announced that it has entered into an agreement to offer Verizon Wireless cell phone service to UHL fans through its website, www.theuhl.com. Verizon Wireless is also the key supporter of fan voting for the official starting lineups of the 2006 UHL All-Star Classic.

With a link to the "UHL Cell Phone Store" now established on the UHL website's navigation bar, the UHL has opened the door to fans looking to join or switch to Verizon Wireless. In addition to some of the lowest online prices on cell phones, the UHL is offering its fans an additional $50 off every order, in the form of a cash back offer sent to buyers automatically.

"The no-form-required, automatic cash back offer really appealed to us, and I believe our supporters will appreciate it too," said Richard Brosal, UHL President/CEO. "We're highly selective when it comes to the partnerships and sponsorships we pursue, and this one works not just for us, but for the fans, which is our top priority."

The agreement was negotiated by Richard Eklund, Partner - NBT Sales & Marketing. NBT works with the UHL to promote the league and expand its reach in both fan base and marketing efforts.

"As a Detroit-area company, NBT is very much in tune with the 'Hockeytown' spirit and love for this great sport," said Eklund. "We're constantly looking for new and unique ways to support the UHL and its fans, and we think this Verizon Wireless offer is one of the best we've seen so far."

NBT and the UHL have teamed up for the fan voting of the UHL All-Star Classic official starting lineups. Fans can log on to the UHL website and make their selections for the starting lineup of the annual event. Along with the fan voting, they've agreed to make the $50 discount a permanent feature of the Cell Phone Store, allowing UHL fans the chance to sign up for Verizon Wireless service at their convenience.

A key partner of the UHL, NBT Sales & Marketing provides consulting services for the UHL and other clients across a diverse range of industries. Based in Rochester, Michigan, NBT practices "Kinetic Marketing," a tactical and action-oriented marketing solution which deeply integrates their clients' sales, customer relationship management, strategic planning, and public relations activities.

The United Hockey League is celebrating its 15th season. The league is comprised of 14 Member Clubs competing in seven states.
