CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Adam Murray (Anchorage, Alaska) stopped all three shots he saw in the first period, while Brandon Maxwell (Winter Park, Fla.) made 19 saves in the remaining 40 minutes as the U.S. National Under-18 Team topped Harvard University, 4-0, here tonight at the Bright Hockey Center.

Ryan Bourque (Boxford, Mass.) got Team USA on the board just 49 seconds into the first period after he took a feed from Kyle Palmieri (Montvale, N.J.) and snapped a shot past neminder Ryan Carroll. Palmieri then added a tally of his own when he beat a Harvard defender, deked to his back hand and put the puck past Carroll high-blocker side. Team USA was able to hold the Crimson to just three shots in the opening frame.

In the second stanza, A.J. Treais (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) gave the U.S. a three-goal advantage when he fired a shot to the top of the net at the 8:08 mark.

John Henrion (Holden, Mass.) made it 4-0 with a power-play marker at 11:03 of the third period when he followed John Ramage's (Chesterfield, Mo.) rebound and snapped the puck past Carroll.

Team USA returns to action when they travel to Lake Placid, N.Y., for the 2008 Under-18 Four Nations Cup November 4-8. The U.S. National Under-18 Team will defende home ice against Under-18 squads from Finland, Sweden and Switzerland. The U.S. will meet Switzerland at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday (Nov. 4) to open the tournament. All Team USA games at the event will be broadcast live on usahockey.com.
