ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The U.S. National Under-18 Team dropped a 3-0 decision to North American Hockey League defending champion, St. Louis Bandits here today.

Tyler Klein made it 2-0 when his wrist shot from the slot found the upper-right corner of the net at 5:47 of the second stanza.

In the final frame, St. Louis netminder Keith Kinkaid turned aside all eight shots he saw and Kyle Quick added a power-play goal with just 26 seconds remaining to ice the 3-0 victory for the Bandits.

Maxwell made 19 saves on the afternoon.
