Bloomington Extreme News Release

Ed Brady, President of Brady Homes, announced today that he has entered into an agreement to purchase an expansion franchise in the United Indoor Football League that will begin play in March 2006. The new Bloomington Franchise will join existing UIF teams such as the Peoria Rough Riders, Fort Wayne Freedom, Rockford Raptors and Lexington Horsemen.

"This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community and to make a contribution by bringing professional indoor football to the Twin Cities," said Brady.

"We are excited to have Bloomington as our first expansion team. It is a great opportunity for both the area and the league," said Dakota Crow, Executive Director of UIF. "UIF is built on solid region rivalries and Bloomington will have great rivalries in this area. Bloomington will be part of one of the best regions in the country and we look forward to more positive growth in the Midwest for years to come."

Central Illinois Arena Management, Inc. partner Mike Nelson, who has been working with Ed Brady on securing an indoor football team for the past two years, stated, "we are thrilled to have a high caliber owner like Ed to oversee the franchise and league that offers great potential rivalries."

Nelson added, "based on our pre-opening services agreement that requires us to secure a professional football team for the Coliseum, we are recommending to the City Council that the football team lease be approved."

Central Illinois Arena Management, Inc. has been contracted with B-N Football to run the day-to-day operations of the franchise including sales and marketing.

The Bloomington team will begin a "name the team" contest with broadcast partner, Radio Bloomington next week. Details on this contest will be provided on the U.S. Cellular Coliseum website or on www.wjbc.com.
