ODESSA, TX. As July 24th draws closer, Coach Chris Williams continues to improve and readjust his roster. Just today two more players were added to fill out the Roughnecks roster.
Born inHouston, TX,Matt Johnson, DB, 5'9", 180 was a four year starter at Baylor University.
Todd Basich, FB and LB, was acquired in a trade from San Angelo who started his IFL career in Corpus Christi earlier this year. Basich is being traded for future considerations.
The Roughnecks will face the Amarillo Dusters this Saturday in Amarillo. And the next week San Angelo on July 31st., followed by a home game against Corpus Christi on August 7th.
