
Twins walk away with Victory over the Generals

Texarkana, USA - Star Wars night was a success after Twins win the second game of the doubleheader over the Victoria Generals 4-3. The game started with a bang ended with a bang. Fireworks got the game started with a bang and the 7th inning was a nail biter.
Matt Sesler started out pitching for the Twins. He pitched four scoreless innings, but he gave up two runs in the fifth. Joseph Standley came in the sixth inning, and he retired the side. The seventh inning came and he started with a walk, and then a little bloop single. There was an error to advance the runners, but he was able to get the outs he needed. Standley has pitched 9 â..." innings has allowed no earned runs and striking out 11.
The Twins magic inning was the bottom of the sixth. It all started with a Lee Thomas hit by pitch his UIW teammate brought him in with a two run bomb to left field. Hudson Hopkins and Blake Shannon both singled followed by a Bobby Lada walk to load the bases.
The Generals then brought in reliever Ty Abraham in who in his first pitch hit Ryne Randle to bring in the go ahead run. Reese Durand then walked for his seventh time in two games to make the score 4-2. In the top of the seventh the Generals brought one home but it was not enough as the Twins walked away with the victory.
