Twin City Cyclones News Release
The Cyclones are pleased to announce the addition of the first annual 'Ruff in the Rink' to the January 30th Pet Adoption Night!
'Ruff in the Rink' is similar to many baseball teams' 'Bark in the Park' where fans can bring their dogs to the game that night. The cost is only $2 per dog with the proceeds going to animal rescue charities and there is a limit of one dog per fan. All fans that bring a dog, must sit in the "end zone" seating (sections 10-14).
"We are very excited to debut âRuff in the Rink.' It is quite a unique event to have in the hockey world and we look forward to the fans supporting it," commented Candace Whitehead, Director of Game Operations for the Cyclones.
Fans will be able to enjoy fun activities throughout the evening like a dog fashion show with Classy Sassy Paws, a Best Kisser Contest for dogs, as well as others! In addition, pets will be available for adoption that night! Help us find deserving animals loving homes!
Representatives from the Forsyth Humane Society, Classy Sassy Paws, Humane Society of the Piedmont, Animal Rescue Groups of North Carolina, Camp Bow Wow, and Envy Pets will be in attendance!
