TURLOCK,Cal. - The Turlock Cal Express announced the signing of veteran Anibal Echeverria as the team closes out the 2019 calendar year. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Echeverria last played for the Express in the 2016-2017 season, scoring 21 points (16 goals, 5 assists) for the team. The Reno native signed with Soles de Sonora for the 2017-2018 season before switching his jersey to Fury colors last season.
Anibal comes in almost with perfect timing as the team prepares for a tough two-game road trip as they face the Western Conference leaders, the Monterrey Flash on January 6 and against the Tacoma Stars on January 10.
Echeverria will make his home debut for the Cal Express on Friday, January 17 when the team hosts the Flash at 7:05 p.m. PT.ÃÂ
