Austin, TX - Indoor football fans had a limited time to cash in on lower level (Turfcat Package) season tickets for the inaugural season of "the fastest game on the turf ." The Austin Turfcats ticket office announced that less than 50 tickets remain in this lower level for the 2009 season and less than 96 hours they are gone for year one.
There are still great seats left in the middle and upper sections.
"We announced 96 hours ago we had 50 tickets left and now they are gone," said Ronald Oswalt, Turfcats Vice-President/General Manager. "The demand to get close to the turf was overwhelming, this is a great sign for this new franchise. Our corporate partners have to be pleased to see the demand for indoor football in Austin."
The Austin Turfcats are a professional indoor football team and a charter member of the Southern Indoor Football League set to begin play for the Southern Indoor Football League's inaugural 2009 season. The Turfcats will play their home games at the Luedecke Arena at the Travis County Exposition Center.
