Tulsa's Ian Keserich Named Oakley CHL Goaltender of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (November 13, 2012) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Tulsa Oilers goaltender Ian Keserich has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the period ending November 11, 2012.

Last weekend, Keserich led the led the Oilers to two victories (one in Fort Worth and the other at home against Missouri) allowing just two goals on 50 shots (.960 save percentage). In Saturday's win over the Brahmas, Keserich stopped all 16 shots he faced as Tulsa captured the 1-0 overtime victory. The shutout was the netminder's eighth in his CHL career and sixth with the Oilers. On Sunday, the 6-2, 200-pound goalie stopped 32 of 34 shots in Tulsa's 3-2 win over the Mavericks.

On the season, Keserich is 4-3-0 with a 3.32 goals against average and a .897 save percentage. In 150 career CHL games, the goalie is 66-62-9 with a .908 save percentage. In his two plus seasons with Tulsa, Keserich has posted a 47-30-4 record.
