Tulsa Shock Announce Final Training Camp Roster

TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa Shock has finalized the 2014 training camp roster with a total of 15 players. As Head Coach Fred Williams enters his first season with the Shock, included on the training camp roster are nine returning players from the 2013 season: Glory Johnson, Riquna Williams, Skylar Diggins, Jennifer Lacy, Roneeka Hodges, Courtney Paris, Angel Goodrich, Tiffany Jackson-Jones and Nicole Powell.

Tulsa's newest additions include first round draft pick Odyssey Sims from Baylor, second round draft pick Jordan Hooper from Nebraska and third round pick Theresa Plaisance from Louisiana State. The free agents joining the team are Amber Dvorak, Ariel Edwards and Vicki Baugh.

Glory Johnson, Riquna Williams, Tiffany Jackson-Jones and Vicki Baugh will be arriving late to training camp because of commitments with their overseas teams.

Assistant Coaches Bridget Pettis and Ed Baldwin will also enter their first season with the Tulsa Shock.

The roster will be trimmed to 12 players on or before May 15, prior to the Shock opening the season on the road in San Antonio on May 17. Training camp will open on Sunday, April 27 at the BOK Center. Tulsa's home opener is on Friday, May 23 vs. Minnesota Lynx at 7:00 p.m. at the BOK Center.
