Troy native Mick returning to Silverbacks

Troy's own Kris Mick will return to the Miami Valley Silverbacks for the 2008 season, the team announced today.
Mick was a tight end for the Silverbacks last season helping them advance to their first postseason appearance in franchise history. The Silverbacks are entering their third season at Hobart Arena in 2008.
Mick, 6'5", 265, will move to defensive end in 2008 after spending the 2007 season on the offensive side of the ball.
"Kris had a good season last year and we are looking for another good season out of him," Silverbacks coach Carl Allen said. "Kris played offensive line last year but this year will be making the move to defensive end. "Kris now has experience and should be exciting to watch."
