
Trot to Clot Walk & Run 5k at Lake Olmstead Stadium this Saturday

AUGUSTA, GA: The Augusta GreenJackets, Single "A" affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, in conjunction with Hemophilia of Georgia have announced the Trot to Clot Walk & Run 5K Race on Saturday, May 14th. Hemophilia of Georgia Trot to Clot 5k Walk & Run events are fun, family-friendly events to show your support for HoG and raise money to fund Camp Wannaklot, Georgia's only camp dedicated to children who have hemophilia or other inherited bleeding disorders.
"We invite the community to come out and get active in support of Hemophilia of Georgia," stated GreenJackets General Manager Tom Denlinger. "We are so excited to bring this event to Lake Olmstead Stadium to kick off what will be an exciting day of FUN at the Lake and help HoG raise funds!"
Runners, joggers, walkers are encouraged to register today. This exciting 5K race has a new location for 2016 at Lake Olmstead Stadium with the finish line located on home plate. Registration will begin at 7:30 with the first heat going off at 8:15am. The cost for runners to enter is only $20, the CSRA is encouraged to sign up today at http://www.hog.org/fundraising/page/trot-to-clot-walk-and-run. Each participant will receive race registration, a ticket to the GreenJackets game that evening, and the opportunity to support a great organization.

Join the GreenJackets Saturday evening for Pink in the Park Night presented by Augusta University Health! The festivities include a Pink Drawstring Bag giveaway courtesy of Augusta University Health to the first 1,500 guests. First pitch is slated for 6:05pm game against the Greenville Drive affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. The GreenJackets will be wearing Pink Jerseys and will host a jersey off the back auction with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society. We cap off the evening with post-game kids can run the bases.
