
Tropics Hold Bennett in Check, But Fall to Wave 7-2

LAKELAND, Fla. - Milwaukee got goals from seven different players, and Josh Lemos was big in goal, as the Milwaukee Wave defeated the Florida Tropics, 7-2, in a Major Arena Soccer League Game at the RP Funding Center Saturday night.
Florida got a restart goal from Guilherme - his team leading seventh - less than 90 seconds into the game, and Freddy Moojen scored on a penalty kick late in the fourth for Florida's only goals. Milwaukee outshot the hosts, 34-21.
The Wave's Ian Bennett actually was kept off the scoresheet, save for one assist, after scoring eight goals in his first two games. The Wave got goals from Jonatan Santos, Angel Curiel, Luan Oliveria, Drew Ruggles, Alex Bradley, Daniel Chamele and Max Ferdinand, who also picked up two assists.
The Wave remain perfect at 3-0, while Florida falls to 2-3, and will next host the Orlando SeaWolves next Saturday, Dec. 29. Kickoff is at 7:05 p.m.
