Trice, Lewis and Cason Get Parts in New "Batman" Movie

August 3, 2011 - Southern Indoor Football League (SIFL)
Richmond Raiders News Release

(RICHMOND)- Brent Trice came back home from his first "Hollywood" experience calling it "an once in a lifetime opportunity". He wasn't even close. It took only one month to top that experience.

Renowned sports casting director Mark Ellis once again dipped into his Richmond Raider talent pool and picked Trice and veteran "actors" Lawrence Lewis and Stephen Cason to be part of Magnus Rex; the newest in the Batman series of feature films.

Trice made his film debut in Home and Away; a NBC pilot starring Beau Bridges filmed in North Carolina late in June. Magnus Rex will be Lewis' third film appearance in less than a year having done Home and Away and Unanswered Prayers with a score of Raider players last fall for the Lifetime Network. There still remains a possibility that more Raiders will be cast when Magnus Rex starts filming at Pittsburgh's Heinz Field later this month.

Stephen Cason remains an action regular on Necessary Roughness on the USA Network. Magnus Rex will be the fourth production he has worked on in the last 11 months. Cason still plans to return for his second year of teaching with the Chesterfield County Public Schools.
