Tri City Defeats Staten Island in Game One of Doubleheader, Second Game Suspended

STATEN ISLAND--The Tri-City ValleyCats defeated the Staten Island Pizza Rats 10-1 in game one of a doubleheader at Richmond County Bank Ballpark on Sunday.
Tri-City scored in six of the seven innings of the makeup game including a five-run sixth inning to pull away and win. Junior Soto had a single, a double, a run, and two outfield assists for the Pizza Rats.
Game 2 was suspended in the top of the 2nd inning.
