Tri-Cities Fever News Release

Kennewick WA. – The Tri-Cities Fever of the National Indoor Football League are proud to announce the signing of running back Jarvis Dunn, 23, out of Southwest Mississippi Community College.

Jarvis, 5-7", 175 lbs., was the Houma Bayou Bucks (NIFL) top rusher in 2004 with 120 carries for 561 yards and 20 touchdowns in 12 games. He was also the leagues top kick returner with a 25.8 yards per carry average. With a 40 time of 4.39, Jarvis is amongst the fastest players in the NIFL.

One Buck fan is quoted as saying, "We picked up Jarvis to fill in after we lost our starting runningback. He had big shoes to fill but he seemed up to the challenge. He wasn't a big bruising back like we've had in the past but he did have heart and instinct. He seemed to know where the holes where and could make people miss. He also didn't know what the words "Give up" meant. As long as his feet were on the ground they were moving. And once he was clear and out in the open, there weren't many who could catch him. He was a big plus for the Bucks in the back field this past season."
