
Trela and Russo Represent NAHL and Nation at the Junior Club World Cup

SOCHI, RUSSIA - Amarillo Bulls forward, Nick Trela, and coach, Rocky Russo, representing Team NAHL and the United States, traveled to Sochi, Russia in preparation for the opening game of the 2019 Sirius Junior World Cup.
Trela, who was named to the NAHL's representation at the World Cup on July 9, made his debut in the Red, White, and Blue in the team's exhibition game against the MHL's, Russia's top junior league, Krylya Sovetov on Monday. Although Trela did not record a point in the warmup contest, Team NAHL saw a trio of goal scorers on its way to a 3-1 win.
For Russo, he is faced with the challenging task of serving as an assistant coach to the league team while simultaneously preparing for the 2019-2020 regular season with the Bulls.
After a few days off, Team NAHL is preparing for the opening game of the round-robin group stage against Finland's Oulun Karpart at 7 p.m. local time and 11 a.m. Central. The schedule for the group stage can be found below.

Wednesday, August 28 - Round-Robin Game #3, Team NAHL vs. HC Ocelari Trinec, 11 a.m.
