Trax's Gurskis earns Player of the Week award

The Southern Professional Hockey League announced it's selection of this week's Sherwood "Player of the Week" award.
John Gurskis from Brockton, MA , who plays with the Macon Trax is this week's winner! Gurskis scored two goals and added one assist in a 5-4 Macon win in Jacksonville, FL. He broke a 4-4 deadlock with his game-winning tally in the third period last Thursday as the Trax, now with a 7-7 record, defeated the hometown Barracudas. John went on to add three assists in a home loss to Jacksonville and a 5-2 win over the visiting Asheville Aces.
