
Travs Rally for Series Opening Win over RockHounds

North Little Rock, AR - A five run eighth inning propelled the Arkansas Travelers to a 7-5 come from behind win over the Midland RockHounds on Tuesday night at Dickey-Stephens Park in front of a crowd of 6,444. The Travs trailed by two in the seventh inning before tying the score on RBI hits from Jake Anchia and Patrick Frick. The RockHounds nearly turned the tables though as they scored three times in the ninth and had the go-ahead run at the plate with two out. Travs starter Bryce Miller struck out 10 over six innings in his second Double-A start.
Moments That Mattered
* Cade Marlowe put the Travs on top with a ground ball base hit in the bottom of the eighth inning opening the gate for the five run inning.
* Rob Kaminsky came out of the bullpen to get the final out of the game stranding the tying runs in scoring position.
