
Training Camp Kicks off Monday

Wichita, KS (October 4th) - The Wichita Thunder is getting ready to start its 22nd season in the CHL and announced its training camp schedule today that begins on Monday, October 7th.
The team will host training camp at the Wichita Ice Center each day from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. beginning Monday and ending on Friday, October 11th. Training camp will conclude on Saturday, October 12th when the Thunder host the Tulsa Oilers in the team's only exhibition game at the Ice Center at 3 p.m. The training camp roster will be finalized by the end of the weekend and will be announced to the public on the team's Facebook Page.
Thunder training camp is open to the general public all week long. The Thunder will also host its 5th annual golf tournament the following week at Willowbend Golf Club on Monday, October 14th and Opening Night on Friday, October 18th against Rapid City, presented by the US Army and Subway. On Saturday, October 19th, the annual Block Party will rock the house, presented by Toyota and the US Army. Details on the Block Party will be announced next week.
